Retreat Accommodation

Accommodation at Byron Yoga Centre

room1m.jpg
Our accommodation is clean and simple 'ashram style' with usually two to a room.

The women’s cabin, which usually books out very quickly, has its own bathroom and kitchen. Rooms attached to the main building have a simple shared kitchen, but require a short walk outside, about 50 metres, to get to the bathroom.

There are some simple guidelines to help create a satvic environment, conducive to the yoga retreat experience. Retreat participants in residence are expected not to partake in cigarettes, drugs and alcohol and are asked to maintain silence in the mornings, where practical, before 9am and after 9.30pm. We also ask participants to be vegetarian on site.

During yoga retreats, the Centre is a place of both relaxation and learning. Socialising can be enjoyed or at a nearby café or beach, both just a few minutes walk from the Centre. The beach is just across the road and Byron Bay town is a short walk away.
