Byron Yoga Centre has some clean and simple accommodation on-site, in a style similar to yoga ashrams in India, with usually two people to a room.
The cost is $120 per week excluding meals, except in part-time residential courses which include meals and accommodation. Trainees don't have to commit to staying on-site if they would prefer to change after their arrival.
The women’s cabin, which usually books out very quickly, has its own bathroom and kitchen. Rooms within the main building share a kitchen and the bathroom is about 50 metres away, outside the main building.
We endeavour to create a sattvic environment that is conducive to the study of yoga by adhering to simple guidelines. Trainees in residence are expected to be free from using cigarettes, drugs and alcohol and are asked to maintain silence before 9.00am and after 9.30pm, where practical. We also ask trainees to eat vegetarian food on-site.
Please be mindful that the Centre is a place of study and learning, so socialising should be done outside the Centre, at a nearby café or beach. The Byron Yoga Centre is virtually across the road from the beach and a ten minute walk into town.

Belongil Beach accommodation
Belongil Beachhouse is the closest budget accommodation just a few minutes walk from the Centre and offers an alternative to the ashram style rooms of Byron Yoga Centre. We suggest you stay here when you first arrive in Byron Bay if you’re not staying at our Centre.
Located opposite Belongil Beach in landscaped, sub-tropical gardens, Belongil Beachhouse has a Balinese-style café in the grounds and Relax Haven day spa where you can enjoy a float and massage.
Dorm rooms are $20 per night, this price varies according to season and if you stay more than 7 nights. Staying at Belongil Beach House when you first arrive gives you time to settle and orientate yourself and look for something more private and affordable for the rest of your training.
